Ryder Park.A previously disturbed site, Ryder Park is located along the Snake River and is envisioned to be a highlight of the city’s greenbelt trail system. Educational and interpretive programming is planned throughout the facility to highlight the restored natural habitats that will make this project an ecological benchmark for the region. Demonstration gardens, ponds, wetlands, and trails will provide recreational opportunities including fishing, hiking, biking, and bird watching. In addition to the completed Master Plan, Pierson Land Works will continue to work with the Idaho Falls Parks and Recreation Department to provide landscape architecture, grading, land planning, and programming services to assist them in achieving their goals and objectives for the park. |
