Pierson Land Works, Inc. (PLW), formerly known as Pierson Land Surveys, P.C., is a corporation founded in 1986 by Scott and Lisa Pierson. The firm initally provided land surveying services in Teton County and the surrounding region, with Scott acting as the firm's licensed land surveyor and Lisa heading business operations.
Today, PLW continues to provide land surveying services and has expanded its professional services to include land use planning, landscape architecture, development consulting/permitting, project management and GIS/mapping services.
As President and CEO, Scott guides a talented group of professionals - land surveyors, planners, landscape architects, project managers and graphics professionals. Scott is an active community and industry leader serving on a variety of committees and boards including - Board Member Emeritus, Jackson Hole Land Trust; Board Member, Jackson State Bank & Trust; President, Teton County Building Corporation; Board Member, Wyoming Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Professional Land Surveyors; Past President, Professional Land Surveyors of Wyoming and Wyoming Past President, American Council of Engineering Companies. Lisa remains an advisor and board member but is most often found behind the controls of an airplane - working as an aviation instructor and commercial pilot.
